Many of you read my previous post about my sister and I going to Texas to visit our friend (who sticks closer than a sister!) who was just diagnosed with cancer. We brought her home with us for a few days and this photo was taken at 1am around El Paso as we were driving home to California.
She went home yesterday, had her oncology appointment today and just called to say the Doctor told her there was a 90% survival rate with the treatment they plan to use. Of course, we are walking on clouds!
So, today, on Thankful Thursday, I am overwelmingly greatful that my friend, Cyndee, had good news from her oncologist. And I would be remiss if I did not also thank God for answered prayer!
