We are seven women preparing for a ministry team to Africa. It is all about being real, about taking the theme of Brokenness and Healing to the women of South Africa.
We shared and our hearts became one. Women who had only known each other by name were brought to tears as they listened, hearts hurting for the brokenness they saw in the other. And they rejoiced at a God who can take all that hurt and turn it into good.
It’s real: the pain, the mistakes, the sin, and the brokenness.
It’s real: the healing, the forgiveness, and the joy.
It’s real, the desire to help other women by sharing of the grace and mercy of God. For one cannot share healing without sharing the pain first.
Tonight was meeting number one and I am so excited to have the opportunity to minister with these six women.
