The Madness of Hope

Forgive

When we forgive: The cracks of the heart are filled in To create walls unpenitrable by bitterness and pain. Like scar tissue that is stronger than skin

When we let injustice go: A film of protection soaks into our heart, Causing hurtful words to roll off, Like water hitting a well-oiled surface.

Releasing: The hold forgiveness holds over another The right to use anger as a weapon Or the need to defend oneself

Forgive: So we can love In humility As Christ loved us
